Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2024

At Dropcode Studio, your privacy matters. We collect only the information we need to communicate with you, deliver your project, and improve our services. We never sell your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in three main ways: information you give us directly, information generated through working together, and limited analytics data that helps us understand site performance.

  • Contact & business info: name, email, phone number, business name, social media handles, and service needs.
  • Project inputs: branding details, copy, photos, testimonials, service descriptions, and other assets you send us for use in your website or marketing materials.
  • Usage data: non-personal analytics like page views, traffic sources, general device/browser type — this helps us improve our site and messaging.
2. How We Use Your Information
  • To contact you about consultations, timelines, deliverables, and approvals.
  • To build and deliver design, web, and marketing assets that you’ve requested.
  • To send reminders, scheduling links, or follow-ups about your project.
  • (If you’ve opted in) To share updates, promotions, or offers from Dropcode Studio.
3. How We Store and Protect Data

We store client materials using reputable third-party platforms (for example: project management, email, CRM, invoicing). Access to these platforms is restricted. We take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration of your data. That said, no digital storage or transmission method is 100% secure, and you acknowledge this by using our services.

4. Sharing Information with Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information — ever. We may share limited information with trusted tools or vendors only when it’s needed to complete your project (for example: hosting providers, payment processors, analytics platforms, or email delivery tools). Those vendors have their own privacy policies and are responsible for protecting your data on their systems.

5. Portfolio Use & Marketing

We’re proud of the work we create. Unless you request otherwise in writing before work begins, Dropcode Studio may showcase screenshots, mockups, or performance results of your project in our portfolio, social media, or marketing. We will never publicly share sensitive internal data (private revenue numbers, internal strategy docs, etc.) without your written approval.

6. Your Rights & Control

You can request a copy of the information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — unless we’re legally required to keep it (for example: invoices or tax records). To make a request, email andrew@dropcodestudio.com.

7. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy if our tools, processes, or legal requirements change. The "Effective Date" at the top will always show the latest version. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the updated policy.

Terms of Service

Effective Date: January 1, 2024

These Terms of Service outline how we work, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you. By engaging with Dropcode Studio (the “Studio”), you agree to these terms.

1. Service Agreement

All services provided by Dropcode Studio require mutual agreement in writing — this may be a signed proposal, invoice acceptance, or written confirmation (email or digital approval). The agreement will define:

  • Scope of work (what we are delivering).
  • Timeline / milestones.
  • Any responsibilities you have (providing copy, brand assets, etc.).
  • Pricing and payment structure.

Work does not begin until you have approved the scope. If scope changes mid-project, additional cost and/or timeline adjustments may apply.

2. Payments

Upfront payment (or deposit, if specified) is required to reserve studio time and begin work. Standard one-page / landing page style packages (like Quick Capture Pages and Launch Microsites) are typically paid in full up front.

Larger / custom builds (such as multi-step funnels or multi-page sites) may include a split payment structure: an initial deposit to start, and the remaining balance due on or before delivery.

Quotes are valid for 15 calendar days. After that, pricing or timeline availability may change. Late or missed payments can pause work and delay delivery.

3. Revisions

Each project includes up to two (2) revision rounds. A “revision round” means consolidated feedback from you delivered at one time, not unlimited back-and-forth tweaks.

Revisions are for refining what was agreed in the original scope — layout, design polish, copy adjustments, etc. Revisions do not include entirely new sections, new features, new pages, or strategy changes outside the initial agreement. Requests outside of scope may require a change order and additional cost.

To qualify as part of the included revision window, feedback must be submitted in writing within five (5) business days of receiving a draft or preview link.

4. Refunds

Our work is custom and produced specifically for your business. Because of this, payments are non-refundable once production has started or deliverables have been provided.

If you are unhappy with any deliverable, let us know as soon as possible. We’ll make a good-faith effort to resolve concerns within the boundaries of the agreed scope and revision rounds.

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide timely feedback, accurate information, and any required materials (copy, photos, branding, legal disclaimers, offers, etc.). Delays in providing content or approvals may delay the project timeline.

You are responsible for ensuring that any claims, guarantees, legal disclaimers, pricing, or service statements you ask us to display on your site are truthful and compliant with applicable laws in your industry/region.

6. Intellectual Property & Portfolio Use

After final payment is received in full, ownership of the final approved deliverables (site design, page layout, final exported assets, agreed copy) transfers to you — excluding:

  • Licensed fonts, stock media, or third-party integrations — those remain owned by their creators.
  • Internal build tools, code libraries, or frameworks we use to develop efficiently.

Unless we have signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) ahead of time, Dropcode Studio may display non-confidential versions or screenshots of your project work in our portfolio, marketing, or sales materials. If you want your project kept private, request that in writing before work begins.

7. Launch, Handoff, and Ongoing Updates

Depending on your package, we may either (a) hand off final assets for you to host/manage, or (b) assist in launch and hosting. In ongoing/hosted plans, ongoing edits or maintenance may be included or billed monthly — this will be spelled out in your agreement.

After project completion and handoff, future edits, new pages, messaging changes, seasonal promos, etc. are considered new work unless your plan explicitly includes them.

8. Limitation of Liability

We aim to deliver clean, conversion-focused design and messaging. However, we do not guarantee a specific number of leads, revenue amount, ranking position, or business outcome. You understand that performance results depend on many external factors (your offer, your follow-up, your ad spend, your market, etc.).

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Dropcode Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our work.

9. Contact & Support

For questions about these Terms or about an active project, reach us at andrew@dropcodestudio.com.

Typical response window is within one (1) business day, Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM EST, excluding U.S. federal holidays.
